Prayer for the Week: Knowledge for a Better Relationship

Lord, I want to thank You for who You are in my life. You are the Provider, Guide, Almighty, You are the Beginning and End. I thank You for the knowledge given to us through Your Word. I pray through this knowledge, if it’s in Your will, I can become and maintain the love relationship You will bless me with. I will read Your Word so it is hidden deep in my heart and will not forget You.

Lord, I will also learn how to wait for them, treat them, appreciate them, and honor You through our relationship. By the examples of the “heros” in the bible, I will understand what characteristics, trust, and faith You are pruning in me. I will also recognize the man or woman of God You have set aside for me by who they are in You.

Even now Lord, I lift up my relationship up to You for protection, blessing, and an overall glorification to You and Your name. I know that nothing here on earth is mine. I give it all to You Lord. Help us to seek Your face so we can be better for each other. I pray all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Scripture Verses:

“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11).

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4:6).

“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God” (Phillip. 1:9-11).

Jesus, family, ministry, and lots of coffee! My heart comes from being a young teen girl who didn't know much and found Jesus in a dark time. My ministry focuses on the heart of God for this generation to make Godly decisions especially in the area of purity. A blog for all ages because God's Word is eternal and has no age limit!
