Bibles for Teens Bible Review: NIV Student Bible
Here is another bible review for someone who is looking into bibles for teens, I am reviewing NIV Student Bible. If you have been here for a while, you know oftentimes I am sent a Bible for free as a member of the Bible Gateway Blogger Grid. As a member, we get emails when Bibles are up for review and I will choose those that I feel may be beneficial to my audience, that’s you! Here is my honest review of the NIV Student Bible and one I would recommend if you are looking for bibles for teens.
You can find NIV Student Bible here at the FaithGateway Store.
The cover and style I believe is one either a male or female can enjoy so if you’re looking for bibles for teens that you can buy in bulk and not worry too much about it being attractive to a male or female, I would recommend this one. Also, if you want to buy it as a gift, the style is definitely one that feels new and modern. If this bible is for you teen, then I think you will really enjoy the style of it. It doesn’t look dated.
The typography is a comfort print and great on the eyes. It’s not too small where it feels like a lot and where you are straining to see. It’s not so big either making the Bible larger and heavy to carry. It can definitely fit in a book bag, medium to large purse, and/or duffel bag.
Also, there are different typographies within a page to keep you engaged with the different headings and features of the NIV Student Bible. When looking for bibles for teens, this is a feature that can help keep your attention when studying the Word of God.
There is information provided on the books of the Bible and other resources for teens that are relatable.
“The information is easy to understand for my generation and it’s not boring. I can read it easily and actually understand what they are saying.” -Zoe, 12 years old.
Another great feature and one I don’t remember seeing in other bibles for teens, is that it has a Bible reading plan with boxes to check off as you go along.
My overall opinion of this NIV Student Bible is that it’s a great bible. I know it can be overwhelming trying to find bibles for teens that you can relate with. Being in Youth Ministry for 15 years, I would totally recommend this. My own teen gave it a thumbs up and already claimed it as her own.
I pray this helps you in your journey for finding a great Bible. I personally have around 20 Bibles and have used all of them for different reasons. Some of them are themed, some of them are like this one, and some of them were somewhere in between. In my opinion, you can never have enough Bibles. For versions, I would recommend NIV, ESV, NASB, KJV, and NKJV.

Jesus, family, ministry, and lots of coffee! My heart comes from being a young teen girl who didn’t know much and found Jesus in a dark time. My ministry focuses on the heart of God for this generation to make Godly decisions especially in the area of purity. A blog for all ages because God’s Word is eternal and has no age limit!
